1. What kind of sports and activities do you offer?

Our holiday camps offer a diverse range of sports and activities for children aged 8 to 13. We provide expert coaching in traditional sports like football, cricket and basketball. We also include offer alternative sports like bouldering, orienteering, dodgeball and boxing. We also offer a range of additional activities which include bouldering (BCA only), VR Games, Nerf Parties and team-building games and competitions.​

2. What is the staff to child ratio?

​

Staff to child ratios are subject to the sport or activity children are taking part in. We maintain a maximum ratio of 1 coach to 16 children, regardless of activity.

3. What age groups are eligible?

​

We welcome all children aged 8 to 13 to participate in our holiday sports and activity camps.

​

4. What distinguishes your holiday camps from others?

​

We differentiate ourselves by offering a diverse range of sports and activities, led by experienced teachers and coaches. We provide a fun and inclusive environment for children. To achieve this we offer alternative activities for children to ensure they are engaged and supported.

5. How experienced are your coaches?

​

Our coaching team consists of experienced coaches and qualified teachers, specialising in their chosen sports. In addition all of our coaches must have relevant Level 2 or above coaching qualifications, an enhanced DBS check and hold a valid First Aid Qualification.

6. What safety measures are in place during coaching sessions?

​

We prioritise the safety and well-being of all participants. Our coaches adhere to our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and we have established health and safety protocols including risk assessments for all sports and activities. Our risk assessments are continually reviewed to ensure that all activities are safe for children.

7. Do you accept childcare vouchers?

​

Currently, we do not accept childcare vouchers. However, we are in the process of being able to accept childcare vouchers in the future. We continue to offer high-quality coaching at competitive prices.

8. What happens in case of adverse weather conditions?

 

We have a weather policy in place, including contingency plans for moving outdoor activities indoors if needed.

9. Will I get a refund if my child is unable to attend?

​

You should contact us as soon as possible if your child becomes sick or is unable to attend. We will consider each case individually and a doctors note may be requested.

 

Refunds are available up to 14 days before the start of camp. Please see our Refund and Cancellation Policy for further information and details on eligibility and conditions.

10. How can I stay updated on upcoming coaching programmes and events?

​

Stay connected with us through our website and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) for regular updates, promotions and announcements.

11. Can my child bring their own sports equipment?

​

Yes, participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment when necessary. We will provide all equipment.​​

12. How does your booking process work?

​

To book a place at our holiday camps, please complete our online booking form. We will then send you an invoice to the email provided. You can pay via debit or credit card, or via PayPal.

 

After we receive confirmation we will send you booking confirmation, a welcome letter and a registration form to declare any medical information.

13. I only want to book the morning, will I need to pay for a full day?

​

If you would only like to book the morning or afternoon, please state this when completing the online booking form. You will need to state the times you would like to collect and pick up your child. You will only pay 50% of the cost if choosing AM or PM only. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly via email info@empowerandelevate.co.uk

14. How does your parent referral scheme work?

I want to refer a parent

​

If you want to refer a parent please tell them to quote your booking reference number when completing our online booking form. Once they have paid for their booking we will contact you with a parent referral code via email. This can be used for 20% off any future bookings. 

​

I have been referred by a parent

​

If you have been referred by a parent please enter their booking reference number when completing our online booking form. We will provide you with a 20% discount on your invoice.
